Blog 1 - How did I get here?

I wonder were I am... It looks like an Island with all the plants jumbled about. The last thing I remember was a loud clamor and the plane crashing. Suddenly I heard a loud sound. I think it was coming from the beach. As I clambered towards the beach I saw another boy walking in the same direction. He asked if i had seen any adults. I told him no and a pallor came over his face. "I think they are all dead", he said,his mouth quivering. I think he was about to start to cry. I told him that i didn't care and that i wanted to just keep going towards the sound to find out what it was. It was hard to walk because the jungle we were in created a grating, preventing us from moving too fast. As we finally made it out we saw in the distance a few boys gathered together. The noise was coming from one of them that was holding a weird shaped thing that looked like an instrument. He held it in a decorous manner.They were standing next to a decorous lagoon. As we got closer I noticed that one of the smaller boys was devouring a piece of fruit. The way he ate it was an indignation. He had to have gotten it from the jungle. By the time we reached the group the boy with the noise maker had stopped. A small group of boyz in black had just reached them too. The one with the instrument thingy said his name was Ralph. He talked to the boyz in black. A fat boy they called piggy looked like he wanted to interpose, but he didn't. They decided there should be a vote for leader. One of the boyz in black seemed very vain. He seemed to be in control of them. They all voted for him and everyone else voted for Ralph. I didn't even start to speculate who i would vote for when almost everybody voted for Ralph at the same time. I just raised my hand and voted for him too. I didn't like the other boy because of his strident voice. when ralph won jack had indignation.
